Our events are perfect for anyone looking to try something new or take their painting skills to the next level. Our talented instructors will guide you through the creation of a beautiful masterpiece, while you relax, socialize, and enjoy a glass of wine. We provide all the supplies, so all you need to bring is your enthusiasm and a willingness to have fun!
We bring the painting activity to your event. We offer a variety of paintings to choose from that are suitable for many occasions or party themes. While there is only one featured painting at a party, guests are still welcome to make any changes to the painting as they feel fit during the session. Guests can also exercise artistic license and add their own touches and interpretation to their version of the featured painting. We also offer embellishments that can be added. For a small additional price, guests can pick out glitter or stones to add a little bling to their creation.
We bring to you step-by-step painting instruction, paints, canvases, palettes, brushes, coverings for tables, pre-sketched canvases for children or adult parties, a sample model painting, water cups, and towels, floor covering if needed, setup and cleanup of each guest’s paint area. If needed, we even bring assistants to help refill paint for guests. Our canvases are panel board or stretch canvas in sizes 16 x 20, 12 x 12, or 14 x 11; depending on the painting.
This is your party at your place, so your party can last as long as you want, but the painting session depends on the canvas selected for the party. Parties are scheduled in 2 1/2 hour blocks with additional 1/2 hour before and after for set-up and clean-up. An additional charge can be applied if painting portion of parties goes over 2 1/2 hours.
Due to the increase in gas prices, we have to add a travel charge of $50 to all parties located 10 miles from East Mesa. This includes Peoria, Glendale, Avondale, Goodyear, Litchfield Park, Maricopa, Surprise, Casa Grande, Carefree, Cave Creek, West, Central, and North Pheonix, and North Scottsdale. Standard Party
Cost: $210 for a minimum of 6 painters
These parties are not limited to birthday parties. A Youth Party is perfect for days off school, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, and youth sports teams…there are so many reasons to party!
Cost: $180 for up to 9 youth painters ages 6-13
Fundraisers are recommended for schools, churches, non-profits, team activities, youth sports teams, PTO/PTA's, or anyone who wants to have fun while raising money for a good cause.
Cost: $35 per painter
We will arrive about 30-60 minutes early for set-up and stay about 30 minutes after to clean up. It is also a good idea to do the painting at the beginning of your party. This will give the paintings extra time to dry while your guests are socializing, opening gifts, or while kids are doing other party activities.
The maximum number depends on your venue, so plan how many tables and chairs can fit in the room. For parties over 20 painters, please book the party at least 30 days prior to event. When determining how many tablets you will need, keep in mind that a painting party setting is wider than a normal dining place setting. For a comfortable paint and sip party, each guest painter's workspace should be 36” wide x 14” high to accommodate each painter's canvas, painting supplies, and any food and drinks at the table. If there will be no food or drinks at the painting table, then 24" wide x 14" high is sufficient. Please do not plan to serve a meal during the painting time.
You are responsible for a venue with ample space, tables and folding chairs, set up of the tables and chairs (including 1 or 2 small tables to be used as paint stations), simple refreshments for your guests, as well as the cups and paper supplies needed for the refreshments. It is suggested that space with sufficient lighting be used. We will need access to running water and a sink. If you have a huge crowd, you may want to consider a microphone. If your party is outside, you might consider using a tent in case of rain. For a fundraiser, you will need to promote your event. Don't hesitate to get in touch with us if help is needed to obtain needed items. We will work with you.
Guest attire:
Please advise your guests to wear comfortable “play clothes” that they wouldn’t mind getting paint on? We use only non-toxic, water-soluble acrylic paints. However, the paints become water-resistant when they dry and can sometimes stain.
Booking:
Requests are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. If you fall short of the minimum number of guests required, you can still have your party, but you will still be charged for the required minimum number of people. To reserve your date, we require a completed reservation form, a $35.00 deposit ($50 for Children Party), and your estimated total headcount. The security deposit will be applied to your final bill. We will need a general headcount one week before your party and the final headcount 48 hours before the party.
Cancellation policy:
If you need to cancel your party, please email your cancellation in writing 48 hours before the scheduled date, and confirm that we have received your notification. The security deposit is not refundable but can be applied to a future rescheduled date. The remaining balance will be due from the party host or fundraising organization in the form of one check when we arrive to set up at your party. If your party is a pay first party then payment is due by each guest via the colormesocialmobile.com website, or link that was sent, no later then 48 hours before party date. The final guest count must be made 48 hours before your party to finalize preparations. It is a good idea for the host to convey this to the guests. We cannot accommodate last-minute add-on guests, and we cannot provide refunds for “no-shows.” You will be charged for the full headcount that is submitted.
If WE need to cancel your event due to illness, extreme weather, or any unforeseen emergency circumstances, you will be refunded your security deposit in full, or you can apply it to rescheduling a future date.
